We are happy that Jackson decided to be baptized today.
A big crowd of family and friends came to show their support.
A big crowd of family and friends came to show their support.
(There were hardly any empty chairs, so it's a good
thing that he was the only stake baptism today.)
We just love having Jackson in primary!
He's so friendly and always concerned about others.
He keeps tabs on all the primary kids and often
tells me I'm doing a good job as a leader. :)
Jackson gave a wonderful talk in last week's
primary program, which he wrote all by himself
(on lined paper with green magic marker)
about what he had been doing to prepare for baptism.
I hope he keeps it for his journal.
I was also impressed to see that Jackson had invited
his three school teachers (kindergarten through 2nd grade)
to his baptism. It didn't matter that they aren't LDS
members... they are important to him and he wanted them
there. This was an example to me of missionary
work and how each of us shouldn't be afraid to invite
others to special events like this and share our
testimonies through words and actions.
Thank you for that reminder,
Jackson and congratulations on your special day!
Love, Sister Palmer & the Primary Presidency
